EarthTone 'A' Maple
This is our EarthTone 432 Hz flute in the key of 'A' minor crafted from a single piece of Soft Maple wood, which gives the flute a balanced clear musical voice. It features Rainbow Moonstone cabochons, a fetish symbolizing the circle of life, and it is engraved with a geometric pattern representing the 432 Hz frequency.
The flute is tuned in the key of "A" minor and can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "C". This flute is 19 inches (48 cm) long.
Our EarthTone flutes use a 432 Hz frequency for the “A” note and all other notes are aligned accordingly. When played alongside flutes that are tuned to the frequency of 440 Hz, the 432 Hz tonal difference is very subtle. The 8 Hz of tonal difference are seemingly slight in degree but can be perceptibly different when experiencing the feeling of the music we hear.
In the world of music there has been a revival of tuning instruments to lower frequencies of sound vibration. Until recently, most musical instruments have been tuned so that the “A” note (of the middle octave on a piano) is tuned to 440 Hz (Hz = cycles per second). This is known as Concert Pitch and was established as a standard at the beginning of the 20th century.
Much like the subtle inflection of the human voice that can project a subtle variation in feelings, an instrument using a slight change in frequency can alter the feeling quality of the music being played.
This is a six hole flute. We automatically include a leather hole cover with this flute. Covering the third hole from the top makes the flute easier to learn to play.

1. Prepare — Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn. Remove all packaging and place on a heat-safe surface away from drafts.
2. First burn — Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges on your first use (approx. 2 hours). This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle.
3. Enjoy — Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
4. Care — Once finished, clean the vessel with warm soapy water and repurpose as a storage jar, planter, or glassware.
We started Apothecary because we believed your home deserved better than synthetic fragrance and mass-produced wax. Most candles on the market are made with paraffin — a petroleum by-product — and loaded with artificial fragrance that can trigger headaches, allergies, and that familiar "chemical" smell.
We wanted something different: a candle that fills a room slowly, honestly, with scent that feels like it belongs there. That's why every Amber Candle is hand-poured in small batches using a coconut-soy blend, scented with a proprietary amber and resin accord that took over a year to develop.
Burn time matters too. We designed the Amber Candle to reach a full melt pool within the first two hours, which means no tunnelling, no wasted wax, and a consistent scent throw every time you light it.
This candle isn't just a product. It's what we'd want in our own homes.

How long does the Amber Candle burn?
Approximately 50 hours with proper care — trimming the wick to 5mm before each burn and not exceeding 4-hour burn sessions.
What wax is used?
A coconut-soy blend. We chose this combination for its clean burn, excellent scent throw, and renewable sourcing. No paraffin, no petroleum.
Is it safe to burn around pets?
Our fragrance is free from known pet-toxic ingredients, but we always recommend burning in a well-ventilated space. Keep candles physically out of reach of all animals at all times.
